Question by InterestedObserver: Best ForEx trading site?
What is a good online ForEx broker who executes trades quickly, has real-time charting and low (or no) commissions? I see myriads of sites out there. Are any above and beyond the others?

you might as well go and check this site. being one of the leaders in forex trading business they offer the best features available for forex traders. a few of these features are; personal service and live, one-on-one help, whereby every trader is provided an Account Service Manager (ASM) as consultant, mentor and trading partner and with whom you can talk via phone, email or chat to answer all your technical questions. your ASM will even trade with you as necessary to make sure you get familiar with their system; web-based platform and so with no software to download- simply log-in and you get to trade in real time giving you full control of your account from anywhere on the globe and from any computer connected to the internet, at anytime; use of credit card to fund your account which allows you to start trading, regardless of banking work days or hours and also change margins or withdraw profits anytime day or night; start trading by opening a mini account of only $ 100. other available accounts include gold, platinum, and vip. note that the higher account you will choose gives you more added benefits and privileges; uses the latest highly sophisticated and advanced technologies in order to offer you up-to-the-second quotes;
, they offer tailor-made account to suit your exact needs (spreads, leverage ratio, mobile-phone alerts, etc.) If you are a frequent trader dealing in larger volumes and they can even execute your stop loss and take profit rates which would enable you to make unlimited gains and minimize your losses to only your defined amount plus a lot more. the site is also full of learning materials and trade tools to help you in your trading activities.

Question by yellow: how come the chart does not work in the older forex trading?

I used to trade in the older version of Forex trading platform and they have live chart next to the position and now it is replaced with a calendar. But now it doesn’t work and not available. But is available in Forex Pro but I don’t liked it because it’s not the same.

Question by JamesYP: Who offers the best forex signals?
There are a lot of sites offering forex signals, both free and paid services. Is there reliable service, with affordable price that offers forex signals, providing decent number of pips per day?

Best answer:

Answer by Thin Kaboudit
The Great and Munificent Oz!

No-one offers reliable forex signals, because no-one knows.

Some services have been right a lot, but if you had 1000 people flip coins1000 times, guessing at heads or tales, at least a few of them would get it right almost every time! Does that mean they know ANYTHING you don’t? Of course not!

Question by eebspecial: Is FOREX (foreign exchange trading) easy to learn and get started in?

Best answer:

Answer by carbonates
Having traded the FOREX for some time, I would say that learning and getting started are both easy. Making money however is quite hard. I would go to one of the FX broker websites and look for one that has a free demo account. Start your pretend trading account with a few thousand pretend dollars and when and ONLY when you have doubled it, open a real account with real money. You might lose all of that a few times before you get it right, as psychologically it is harder to trade with real money than imaginary money. Don’t quit your day job right away.

The link below will take you to FX Street which is an excellent news site about the FX market, and will give you a list of FX brokers, many of whom can open a free demo account for you. FXCM is one of those brokers, also linked below. This is NOT an endorsement of FXCM. You may need to find a broker in your country of choice, and you should know that you can open an account in almost any currency you want to use as your base currency if you find the right brokers.

You should study up on technical trading, interpretation of chart patterns etc, and if you prefer a fundamental approach study macroeconomics and try to understand what economic events and forces will change the flow of currency.

I would not recommend spending a lot of money on some sort of magic software that supposedly tells you when to trade. I started that way and eventually did better trading without the expensive software than I did with it. The only ones making money with most of the fancy software out there are the ones selling the software. After all, if their software was so good, why do they need to sell it? They should be rich from trading their own accounts.

Also, look on Yahoo! groups for some support groups. They are quite active and can steer you towards group meetings in your area, training seminars, and even have live trading sessions with IM in the middle of the night.

Question by Thor: Is it correct for one to trade in currency forex offline (from Bank to Bank?)?
Would like to find out if individuals conduct offline currency trading from one bank to another with a view to make profitss. I would like to do that personally given the income potential it has (am a student). What it means is I can use capital to Buy & Sell from one Bank to another according to daily rates. Is it anything new? Are there threats to this endeavor?

Best answer:

Answer by Al Mac Wheel
You can try it.

Many other people have tried it.

It is a huge gamble.

You can make money, you can also lose your shirt.

A warning … make sure you have an appropriate paper trail on what you are up to … because it can look suspicious to authorities looking for terrorists and professional criminals.

Question by westphalia1: Do “Foreign” GOLD COINS have 3 values? Do they have EXCHANGE RATES?
Do foreign gold coins (say, Canadian Maple Leafs and other countries gold coins) have 3 values to them? 1) collectors appreciation value and 2) Daily spot/market price of the gold itself and 3) the foreign exchange value. And also, do real gold coins (foreign in this case) fluctuate according to exchange rates (FOREX RATES) . It would seem to me they should have some exchange rate since they could be used as currency if you wanted to. I am not sure. Thanks

Best answer:

Answer by Bob
They have one value: the gold bullion value.

It may say C$ 50 on the one ounce coin, but nobody is going to but 50 dollars worth of stuff with it in a store when it can be sold as gold for many hundreds of dollars per ounce.

Hi guys,
Recently i’ve seen so many sites that speak about forex trading and brokers and so on. I saves a bit money and i was thinking to start trading forex and double it. Please i need some advice. Preferably someone who has past experience with it. Is it a good or bad idea. Please advice

Best answer:

Answer by Raysor
Bad idea.
This is how you make money trading (anything). 1. Knowledge/skill 2. Inside information (illegal) and 3. Luck
You probably need at least two of those to be successul. How many have you got?
